Striking dual-occupancy residence.

Situated on a challenging coastal site, this striking dual-occupancy residence presented a complex set of engineering and construction demands that required exceptional expertise from the ground up. The basement level, sitting directly on the water table, necessitated an extensive sheet piling and dewatering system, setting a technically demanding foundation for what would become a landmark high-end build. From this engineered base, the home rises through multiple levels serviced by private lifts, culminating in expansive rooftop terraces that capitalise on the elevated outlook. Every challenge was met with precision and purpose, resulting in a residence that performs as beautifully as it presents.

Architecturally, the design is bold yet refined – a crisp white façade of vertical battens and sweeping arched forms is softened by cascading green walls and lush planted terraces that blur the boundary between structure and landscape. At the rear, the home opens generously to a resort-style pool and alfresco entertaining area, with floor-to-ceiling glazing drawing the outdoors seamlessly inward across every level. Natural stone feature walls, warm timber accents and bespoke finishes throughout speak to the uncompromising quality of the finish. The result is a sophisticated duplex that pushes the boundaries of residential construction – technically rigorous, visually stunning, and built to endure.
